In many communities, cardiovascular diseases remain a leading health concern, often exacerbated by limited access to health education and preventative care. Recognizing this, our challenge was to create a tool that could identify and analyze risk factors within these communities.

Objectives

Our objective was clear: develop a comprehensive survey platform that is both accessible and informative, and implement a robust data analysis mechanism to uncover key health trends and risk factors.

Survey Development

To address this, we developed a user-friendly survey platform, leveraging the latest in web development technologies for ease of access and engagement. The survey was designed to be intuitive, ensuring maximum participation from diverse community members. Technology used included Laravel, Vue and ReactNative for Web and mobile applications.

Data Analysis Mechanism

The data analysis tool was built using advanced analytics software, capable of sifting through large datasets to identify crucial patterns and risk factors, providing actionable insights for community health initiatives. The technology stack included Python, Apache Airflow, Apache Druid and Apache Superset were technologies used to achieve this goal.

Data Insights

The insights gained were eye-opening, revealing key risk factors prevalent in the community, including lifestyle and genetic predispositions

Community Impact

The project's impact was profound – leading to increased awareness about cardiovascular health, and informing local health policies to better address these risks.
